So here's what I want to be able to do, but I'm not sure from reading the FAQ and readme how to go about it. I'd like to run a server, as well as two-box from the same computer. Accd to the readme help http://eqemu.sourceforge.net/shawn31...dme.html#part2

there are 3 ways to set it up, one is to host a server on EQEmu here, one is to minilogin, the other is to setup a ublic login server.

now, to two box, I should need to have 2 accounts correct? that means that I cant use the minilogin server on a LAN because it only supports 1 account.

So apparently, what I need to do is set up the public server, but can I connect more than one account to it from the server computer? And also, I'm working thru a pretty thick firewall but dont really care if anyone can access it from outside, since I just want to use the accounts on the server computer. Would this still cause problems?

Also, will I need to install one directory/account as the server, and another as a simple player account on the same computer?

Another option I have, if what I'm trying to do just wont work, is to set up a LAN between my home desktop and this notebook that I'm currently working on. Would this be an easier option?

Thanks for all your help!
