Default World.exe closes, I've tried everything!

4) If you are having WORLD.EXE errors, please provide the following information:
a) What error you are having and when you are having it.
I don't know, the window closes before I have time to read anything

b) What OS (Operating System, IE: Windows 95) you are using:
Windows XP

c) What EMU Version (IE: 0.3.7) you are using
The lastest version

d) What you are connecting to (Minilogin, Publiclogin, Logging/Hosting into eqlogin.eqemu.net)
World.exe and Boot5zones

e) Paste the text out of these files:
db.ini (mask out PASSWORD please)
loginserver.ini

# READ README.TXT!

You didnt provide any errors...

What are we suppose to tell you?

Configuration looks fine to me, but you didnt give us any details....

Sounds like you're getting the same thing I've been experiencing, just at a guess.


My advice, get yourself up a command prompt and run world.exe from there so you can see what exactly is happening, then come back with what error messages it gives.

"Latest version"?? of eqemu?? There are like 50 latest versions! Is it 4.3, 4.4DR1? Did you download it this week, last week if it's a DR version? Did you find it in a link from Drawde's database files?

The latest official version is 4.3 - that is what is supported, technically. The latest CVS version changes every day, because it's a development release.
