Default Can anyone "Tutorial" giving loot to a mob in 4.3

I have tried the "Looter" Program and it put stuff into the database for me but no matter what i set the probability to it always resets to Zero and the mob drops nothing. Can someone please write a step by step tutorial to giing loot to mobs starting at the beginning. It can be just editing the database with commands or with EQAdmin or mySQL Frount.. i don't care, i would just love to be able to repop the zones to my standards and heve them drop loot. I can repopulate the zones just fine but what is the point if they drop nothing :(

Please help.

Heres a tutorial with EQAdmin 4.6. I try to be somewhat specific so forgive me if its a little long.

1. Open 'Loot Tables' tab.
2. Hit 'Add Record'
3. Give the new record a name like 'Soandso loot table'
4. Enter a minimun cash drop amount (like 200), max cash drop amount (like 2000) and average coin amount. (like 3).
5. Leave the last column blank for now. Click the 'Loot Drops' tab.
6. Hit 'Add Record'
7. Enter your npc's name like 'Soandso'
8. In the loot drop entries area below, hit 'Add Item'
9. Enter a item ID number in the first column or select it from the very large drop list on the right. Leave the charges at 1, enter a 1 under 'equip' if you wish to have your NPC equip the item if they have it on them, and finally, enter a value under 'chance' of that item appearing on your NPC. (1 to 100) of 100.
10. Repeat steps 8-9 until you have as many items as you want in your list.
11. Click 'Commit Loot Drop Entries' to save it.
12. Now go back to the 'Loot Tables' tab.
13. Click on your NPC loot table and go down to the bottom section and press 'Add Loot Drop'.
14. Enter your Loot Drop id number from the table you just made with all your items in it. If you were smart, it will be the same number as your loot table id. By doing this, you should see your NPC's name pop in the drop box but the column should remain blank. This is ok, hit the 'Commit Loot Table Entries' button to save.
15. Repeat steps 13-14 to add multiple loot tables to your NPC. There are already premade tables for things like Fine Steel weapons, class armor etc etc in drawde/telmet databases. That saves alot of time so you don't need to keep adding the same items over and over to different NPCs.
16. Finally, find your NPC you have created and enter the Loot Table ID number in their Loot Table column. It may not show the name in the column itself but you should see it in the drop menu at the bottom. Commit your changes to save. The next time you reload the program the names should appear.

If you want to verify everything worked, reload EQAdmin and check the columns to make sure they have the appropriate names in them. If they are blank, then something went wrong somewhere. The other way is to of course visit the npc in the world and slay it with #kill.

Always remember to Commit Changes and Entries, this is the only sure way to save your info you enter and is often the reason things don't show up as it is easy to forget to do it.

Good Luck
