Default BOT Project - Stalled due to Patch Server Complications

Recently I am developing a program which *somewhat* generates bots. However, moments ago I recently downloaded EqEmu v4.4 and then attempted to run the eqemu patcher - however the patch server was down and now I am not able to connect to my own eqemu server - not even to run my own program [incorrect version error].

Currently - the bots are ridicoulously stupid. There are no paths defined for the bots, so they run arround attacking NPCs. In the future, I want to create a database with way-points and also a database of bots with assorted levels/armor/spells/etc. Furthermore, bot interaction would be nice and as well as being able to invite a bot (approximently the same level as a character) to join a group would be an extra step toward realism.

If I could know when the patch server would be ready to go with the new Username/Password implemented - then i can further continue my project.
