max armor class for players?

Is there a code which sets a player's max AC to, say, 1600? I have several GM items on my server which in total sets a player's ac to 4500, causing even lvl 70 mobs to hit a player for 1 point of damage because his AC is so high. The simple solution would be to lower the AC on the items to eqlive standards, but I'd rather use a max ac code since that's what eqlive has. Thanks for any help.

If you had GM items with very high lvl AC then set max AC to say 1600 you woud thereby render the GM item useless as far as AC goes. You may as well set the AC to zero on the GM item it would have the same effect.

Best idea is to set the item stats to something reasonable for your game.

I agree with Mamba, you should just go ahead and make the items more comparable to eqlive.
