a_Guest03 true, but some of us are on our first go at this so we don't have previous downloads from SOE that will work with the current version and didn't get a chance to use the patcher before it was taken down to have the info needed as to which files we would need to swap even if we had them.
I have my current eq patched to date and won't be patching it again and I will be waiting for a newer version of EQEmu that works with my current patched version then (if the patcher is back up) I can run the patcher once and make sure I make backups of the files I need too, since getting them from someone who had the opportunity to back them up is illegal, even though they are just older versions of the ones I already have.
Also even though I figured this out it probably needs to be explained to others a little better than what I have seen.
