Sleeper has never been killed on any server, whether through an exploit or not. The thing with Conquest was, as explained above, done to the Fourth Warder, and possibly the other 3.

I know in RL someone who helped designed the Velious expansion, and as former guild leader of one of the top EQ guilds, he gave info about the Sleeper. Basically he was never meant to be killed. Regens for a lot very fast. DTs every 5 seconds, and no, he does not zone-wide DT. As far as detrimental spells on the Sleeper, I do know he is not completely resistant cuz before the raid wiped to him, a ranger managed to proc his epic slow on him. Whether or not he's even been taken down in % is something I do not know, and frankly, I dont believe it has happened.

Default Some dumb questions from another noob

OK newbie here, I have read the forums quite a bit, but either missed or didn't understand some things...

Why would a separate patcher file be needed to run EQemu; Is it because its not practical to keep up with EQlives changes?

How do you get that ultra GM status on a server, or is it automatic when using the EQminilogin? I really want to spawn some oversized critters

When looking at some quest scripts, I noticed the script file names are numbers, do those numbers corrospond to NPCs? is there a list somewhere?

Where can I find a list of numbers to select the items I want to spawn?

Why doesn't someone write a batchfile to do most the work needed to do all the mods needed to use EQenu?

Thanks!

1. Because the current version of EQEmu does not work with the current version of EQ. The patcher, in essence, unpatched your EQ client to an older version that was compatible with EQEmu. But, due to various reasons (bandwith costs, possible legal issues....) it was decided that the patcher could no longer be made available. However, the next version of the Emu to come out will be compatible with the most recent version of EQ, so the patcher won't be needed anyway.

2. GM status is set in the database on the server that you are playing on.

3. The numbers correspond to NPC numbers. The numbers can be found in the database. (and they are not necessarily consistant... Vox on my server might be #1234 and #4321 on your server... it's however you set it up)

4. Same as above.

5. Don't know.... because there are too many steps to do?

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?
