Question?

Ok I followed your guide, and I have every set up, ( the one that ends with you running boot5zones.bat) what do I do now? I tried running eqemu, but my server wasn't in the list? Please assistance would be much appreciated.

EQEMu is currently down for regular users. It's only available for developers at the moment. There is a post in the FAQ section covering the status.

We could spend our hours trying to get it to work for everyone, but what would that accomplish? The product is not yet fully functional. I'd rather spend my time making it functional than supporting a non-functional version.

Well, you could always split it, have some developers work on making it functional and others supporting it. I would like to have my own server for me and my friends to hang out on. I have everything set up and it shows the server but it is locked. I love the work you guys are doing! I can't wait till the day when I can have my own server up and running!

My bad - I don't mean it's only available for those with "developer" under their name. What i mean is it's only available for those who can compile their own and get it running on their own - which is typically a developer type :P

Just a question merth how would i go about becomeing a "developer type"? What background info would i need to learn in order to maintain my own server and get it running? Thanks in advance
