Don't want to answer this myself as i'm not a dev, but i'll give it my best shot.

From what it shows, all this was changed because stuff that has been building up between some of the devs and it finally broke out. Website, irc, servers.. everything went down -- Hogie was the hoster of this project, he hosted everything.

Hogie isn't around anymore, so it looks like hogie isn't coming back.. chances? Maybe.. but I really doubt it.

Wes? I've been around for a long time and well.. I really like Wes. He's nice, he's helped me.. hes a really good addition to the eqemu team. There shouldn't be a problem with things that were posted, because really.. if you're using the same account/pass as your eqlive account/pass, then you should lose your account.

I trust wes, i've trusted him, he's used my account before and he never took it.

From everything coming back to normal? Looks like Tux Racer made up with the eqemu team, (he pretty much brought eqemu to life way back in the day then parting from the project) and he's starting to make the new eqemu website.

The forums/irc are back and running. (The forums with a few bugs; like the button images for instance).

As for helping with development, there are a few ways of doing it. You can be a database developer (npcs, pathing, aa, items, etc). You can help with the programming (you gotta know C++ to do this) Then there are other things you can help with, if you go to IRC you may be able to pick up a task.

Hope this helps, anyone correct me if i'm wrong.
