Yes, the 1017 errors are because SoE likes breaking EQEMu for fun. So really, if you patched, you wont be able to play EMu unless you backed it up like they have been telling us to do sence (almost) day 1. So if you do get the pre aug 26. version of eqgame.exe, MAKE SURE YOU BACK EVERYTHING UP! This does not only mean on your C drive (or whatever the harddrive is on your computer), but also back it up on CD-R's, Floppy Discs, etc. Try to atleast have 3 backups of eqgame.exe and the other files, because as everyone knows who has been with the EMu for awhile, if you can somehow lose your backup, you will. As for those of you who patched before you came to EQEMu, I guess you will either have to be patient with the Devs, or else try fixing the problem yourself by getting the old version of eqgame.exe.
