Default Hits Reporting

I don't know if this has to do with anything, or will help anything other than my post count, but I was tinkering around on EQLive tonight, and I saw something that piqued my interest. No screenies available . . . I was playing on my Beastlord, and I had my pet's hits reporting turned off, so none of his hits would show. Well, his finishing blow always showed.

Soandso's Warder mauls a snow couger for 36 points of damage.
A snow couger has been slain by Soandso's Warder!

First thing I thought of when I saw that was the hits reporting on the Emu. Anyway, moving on . . .

I am also receiving a similar bug, except NO hits are displayed in my channels. I have all filters in the options on, and I still see nothing except misses, procs, and the killing blow.

Also, the targets life does not move. It stays at 100% until the target dies, then it goes to a corpse target.

Not sure if this is known, or what you need me to provide for you to help solve it.

This issue means the OP_Action packet isn't being sent properly, I suspect because of a wrong opcode.

OP_Death includes the final hit's damage, so that packet must be working right.

I have experienced this bug on every server I have played on... Typically I just see

You try to hit a giant mole rat, but MISS!
a giant mole rat tries to hit YOU, but misses!

and actually the blows are connecting... My life goes down and if I can kill the creature I eventually see something like

You crush a giant mole rat for 34 damage!

Funny thing is... I am using a sword... o.O

Does this mean that bug is fixed?

Oops, sorry. :p I just wasn't expecting a bug report on EQlive.

Anyways, the problem is still the above, I don't think it'd be caused by anything clientside, since there's no "My hits" filter.
