A little off-topic:

The problem is, there are never enough players for eqemulator. It may have over 30,000 users, but out of that probably 100-150 are active and 1/4 of them actually know some common sense.

If you are going to have a server that holds 300 people, you're going to need to pull some nifty tricks with a magic hat, because quite honestly I don't think any emulated server will over maybe say... something like 200.

The devs have run many a 'bitch' tests to see how much a server could hold and keep it stable, but they never can get the users to get on all at the same time. I was surprised at how guildwars had over 100 players once, cause I had never seen over 20 people on that server.

So it would be a nice achievement if you could get over that.

As to image: Isn't that all what the EQ updates mainly were? A lot of changes to optimize their bandwidth better?
