Gotta go with EQ2. Nice though, if you have an EQ1 character, the EQ2 character will have it's "lineage" tied to the first and you get artifact type stuff that was your great grandpa's or something like that. Looking at the screenshots, it looks great but, I don't like the housing idea since they changed it. First it was going to be everyone could own a house and the town would expand with markets etc when new houses are added, overall having a dynamically sized town. Now they will have apartments per eq account that all the characters share. You cannot decorate the outside (good thing for those people who have trouble with armor colors) but, the inside will be very highly customizable.
Another good thing is guild housing and guild dues. ANother good note, they will limit the number of people per server to ensure that everyone gets property and there will be 200 levels to limit the power shift. You won't be able to make a character today and be 65 next week like in eq1. Another good point is, no more Luclin! YAY! /allrejoice
I thought that was getting way off base from the original game. We had fantasy, the sci-fi, then tribal type content.
AKA-Original, Luclin, LDoN & LoY
Those are the good points.
Bad points...
morons... oh wait that's everywhere
well I can't think of any off the top of my head except those with low-end computers will have to upgrade or keep playing eq1 with the original textures. =)
