Default 5.3DR1 Source?

Ppl are releasing 5.3DR1 databases now.. but where are the source? I did a CVS download now, but as i suspected, this was still 5.1 code..

Did not find anything on the "Files" section either.

So.. Why is ppl releasing 5.3DR1 databases if the source is not aviable? Or is it only the selected few devs that do this to taunt the regular n00b around here :P

Just wondering..

yes it is a source that only the 'inner circle' have access to
they dont release stuff thats 'in progress'... (well, actually eqemu is in progress, but you know what i mean..)
so its not official, the feedback is faster and better
on the devs servers anyhow,. :S

The root problem is that Sourceforge has screwed us... I'm still waiting for them to do the ticket I requested weeks ago.

If we are going to have a CVS system, we're going to have to put it somewhere else.

If someone would like to volunteer an anonymous access CVS repository, I'll be happy to set up jobs to make the code available again. Simple fact is that sourceforge is not doing anything for us anymore other than as a place to drop our release files off, their cvs system is going to be useless if we have to wait months for them to do a simple ticket for us.

I think you're missing the point...

We already have a sourceforge CVS project. Moving from one sourceforge project to another would be a bit pointless, the whole idea here is to move to a private CVS server managed by someone within the community so we have the access we need to run it ourselves.

Thanks for the offer, but I could create a completely new sourceforge project if we wanted to go that route. Im so completely disgusted by the lack of communication from SourceForge at this point that I wouldnt even consider using them anymore than is possible..

(NOTE: There is no support for this, compile at your own risk, use vs.net 2003).

Kinda been busy doing other stuff during the christmas and such.. so i havent checked things out lately..

But.. i just did a CVS check, and its still 5.1 sumtin there, so i take it the cvs problems is not fixed.

The link above for 5.3-DR1 does not work tho.. And i think things are up to DR2 now? Well.. hope some sort of CVS could be fixed some day tho..
