cant create charecter - EQ crash

i can't get passed class/race/stat screen, when i click next it crashes.. any ideas?

reinstall EQ maby.

I'm having the same problem, actually. Do you happen to have an athlon processor and nvidia video card by any chance? I ask because it seems to be a problem alot of people are having with that set up

Same problem here.... yes to nVidia, no to Athlon... I've a Duron.

Anyone have any luck solving this? Trying to host my own server for lan purposes (on a seperate comp), and ran into this. I've tried with CVS, and both 5.2 and 5.3-DR3 binaries, all have the same problem client side, so it's definately not server related.

Does a reinstall help? Or does something else fix it? Even with cable, I really don't wanna wait through the reinstall/patch process.

Blah, nevermind. I fixed it, forgot I was on test before I copied the dir over. Now on to fixing the real problems...
