Default question about eq expansions?? plz answer :p

hi im new to eqemu and i was wondering if eqemu also supported some or all of the eq expansions out? is it just like certain servers might support them or you cannot at all? please tell me as i want to try some of the expansions :p

All the expansion packs are already registered, but you cant do things such as see new textures, characters, or zones without the CD.

So basically you can borrow the CD from your friend and install it on you computer.

Where as in Everquest (SoE) you have to actually buy the CD to register the CD key and install it!

Most, if not all, un-legit servers will support your expansion needs.

The legit servers tend to use a custom setup, and thus knock off some expansions for various reasons.

All you need are the files, and you can explore them. How you come about those files, is all up to you.
