Default setting up an eq server for windows xp

im having some difficulty setting this thing up. ive been able to follow the instructions all the way up to the point of compiling the world using vs.net 2003. so in order to compile the world we must have vs.net 2003? there is no way around this? is there any other way to compile the world? is it possible to have a directory with an already compiled world zipped up and ready for download?

there are precompiled binaries available. do a search for posts by shawn319 and get the link to his site with them.

Yes, there are binaries and here is the link to the post containing the link... (did it that way to make sure you read where it says NO SUPPORT AT ALL)... http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12500

This thread should be posted in server support btw.
