I HATE WINDOWS XP!! too many BUGS!

It took me 2 weeks to fix this BS!!!
Damn I hate worms!!!!!!!!!!

1. turn off router DMZ (if u have router)

2. use any anti virus prog if u have any, if not, go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and click on "Scan now, its free!".. it scans for virus and cleans virus online.

3. try get microsoft window update, maybe it will help get rid of error

4. (if u get new upgrade from microsoft.com), run virus scan again.

5. Visit www.annoyances.org if all fails, ask for help in their forum, they pwn, they helped me tons on win xp, and laptop win ME

I am win xp user, and used to get those thing (when i turned on DMZ, it pops up all the sudden).

Isn't that the RPC vulnerability that was fixed months ago?

Service Pack 1 fixes it if you don't have it yet. windows update is your friend, update weekly

Yea thats how i fixed it, by doing to windows update (45 crt updates) and i had another 4 virus on my computer when i ran house call


the funny thing is I am on a ADSL (256/d 128/u) router with the firewall on. so i am not really sure how i got it.
