It can also be a matter of zone hosting. Depending on how many zone servers you are running and what kind of DB you are using, it really makes all the difference. I advise you to use TCSMyWorld's latest database and a Boot10Zones.bat file, such as this one:

The ten zones are better than five because if a zone server goes down, it doesn't take most of the zones with it and tends to be more stable, well in my opinion anyway.
