Default account flag error: 1036

Ok...i wanna flag my account to 200, but i keep getting this error:

C:\eqemu>world.exe flag mtbikex 200
LoginServer.ini read.
Using database 'eq' at localhost
Account being GM Flagged:mtbikex, Level: 200
DB Query Error
Error #1036: Table 'account' is read only
database.SetGMFlag failed.

Any ideas???

Is mysql on the same computer your running this from? please cut and paste your db.ini here (remove your username and password)

Thats funky.. His tables locked for some reason.. Could potentially be corruption in the mysql/mysql database.. I'd try to uninstall mysql completely, reinstall it from scratch, then resourcing the db.sql (after using the brute force permissions fix in the sticky). Havent seen this one before.

I have noticed odd windows problems with mysql just flaking out and requiring a full reinstall, though Ive had a stable mysql databases on several linux servers for years now, Ive never experienced this issue..

or permissions?
i've run mysql on windows for a long time now, and never had a flek of trouble.

I guess it could be, though Ive never seen it spit out that a table was labeled read only, using it will deny access to the table completely. It could be bad permissions of the user id though.. Of course most of the time you get an access denied when you try to read, not try to update..

Thats why I suggested trying the brute force permissions flush 1st though, in case it was a permissions error.
