Default Mob and loot problems...

I installed everything and FINALLY, got my server up and running. Problem: I have all of the original mobs and all of the kunark mobs, but velious, luclin, PoP, LoY, LDoN, and GoD don't have mobs.

In Kunark and Norrath where i do have mobs, none of the named have loot, like Trakanon didn't have ANYTHING on him. Standard mobs seem to have money but nothing else. Any help on these two issues, especially why velious+expansions are naked?!?!

Because the data hasn't been entered into the database yet? If you're using the MW055 database that means you're using an ALPHA database. ALPHA comes before BETA...and beta is before release. It's not meant to be finished right now. It's a work in progress. You can always update it yourself. Just do some research on editing the database.

Aww cmon why aren't they all finished.... J/K Actually I have just set up a server on my local network and looking through the tables of MW055 I am astounded by the amount of work that has already gone into it. Right now I am figuring out all the relationships in the tables (have only had it up for 2 days) and I plan doing some work with the loot tables and getting some more of the mobs set up with drops. Again I am amazed by how much is already in there and how good it is considering that when the actuall companys make games like this they have a whole staff devoted to doing just this type of work, most of us on the otherhand don't spend 10 - 12 hours a day doing nothing but setting up data (and that is just one aspect of this project). My hat goes off to the DB people in this community!

It truly is a LOT of data. I agree. Props to the data collectors and the MW team
