Although 1.9 was broken in ways, the crashing is prolly due to using the wrong database.... get 1.9.1 and correct item database or view this post for an archive of old versions. Sandy's editor for the Loot tables, not Items. Kaiyodo's is for 4.2, he's been absent ever since =(.
