Default Differences between 5.5 & 5.6DR1?
Hello!

Please forgive me if I have missed this elsewhere. I have been looking, and have not yet found a good answer for this yet.

What is the difference between 5.5 and 5.6DR1? How can I set up a 5.6DR1 Server? (I cannot connect to 5.5 servers for some reason or other)

I am guessing that 5.6 DR1 is a fix for the problem caused by the latest patch that one of the developers is testing even though they have not posted any information at all about it. This means they probably are not sure how well it worked or how stable it is yet or they would have told us about it. And you probably cannot connect to 5.5 servers because you patched EQ recently.

5.6 is just a developer version to get EMu working again, nothing will be posted about it yet because (a) it's only been started today and (b) it won't have any new features yet - all it does is fix patching problem.

Well, I patched today already ( ) and I can't even access 5.6DR1 servers now LOL

But I can see the server list! :lol:

Yeah the patch I think April 14th or 15th messed up 5.5.
