I played with friends today on my server, and im having "opcode: 0x02f8, size: 4", and that dont prevent us to play, no LD, no problem, so OP_CODE is definitvely not the cause of your problem.

How are you sharing your connection ICS, NAT, Router ? If you want people help you, you need to describe us your LAN/EQEmu Server config.
