5.7 DR4 Crash

I can login to the server just fine, make my character, get to the character select screen, pick the character, and then hit enter world, but about a minute later it does one of the "Everquest has detected your client may have crashed" messages, and will not let me go anyfurther. I have the newst everquest patch as of May 28, 2004, no 3rd party programs, nothing.

*** FIXED! ***
After messing around with stuff extensively, I figured out that the problem was me using the same name as a previous character and having those files in my eq directory. I deleted the "Character_" file, aswell as the "Ui_Character_" files. This made the character fully load, something is in there that is clashes and making the client crash. Hope it helps someone else!

I've got a problem similar to yours but I don't have those character files in EQ dir yet and it still crashes. Can I ask you what database you are using?

I don't host a server, I was just trying to log into a server.

Ah I see, thanks anyways.

Can anyone with a working DR4 server tell me what database they are using?
