Our server is custom but only expands out to Kunark. I too liked EQ better before Luclin. Kunark and old world are my favorites, but Velious was okay. Oh but I do like the Luclin graphics even thoguh they're a big phat resource hog.
Our server is being geared so a single group of people is all that is needed for "raids". I hated the whole raid scenario in EQ so that nonsense won't be making an appearence in our server. It's basically geared towards people who used to play old school pen and paper RPG's.
Basically it's like EQ starting over. In a way it's similar to the premise of EQ 2 almost. Big apocalyptic type events followed by a slow emergence of civilization that spreads across the continents.
Server is down until sometime after June 8th, but check us out when we return.
