Hey Man,

This is GM Ragnrok from the Benden Weyr server. I saw the server up a couple of weeks ago and have seen it on and off. I'm currently anxious to get back on EMU and start setting up some more events for you and the players but the problem is you are running DR2 i believe...I sent you a PM but no response and tried to speak to a couple of people at EMU to find out a way to go down to DR2 so i can play on it.

When you get this bro, could you please help me out with going back down to DR2 or can someone tell me how to go from DR4 to DR2.

Or another option is, bring the server up to date with DR4.

Anyone who could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

All you must do is download eqmain.dll from that DR2 time (sorry, no link provided, not alloud) and change your eqhost.txt to:

"eqlogin2.eqemulator.net:5997"
"eqlogin3.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

But then 0.5.7-DR4+ servers will not work for you.

Accio, (and anyone else who played on my server) ...

I got tired of running the server. To be honest, it was never my intention to run a public server,
but when I saw people clammering for non-legit, I thought I would open it up for a few days, and
that few days turned into 50+ days.

It was a novelty for a while, but soon became a chore ... I don't honestly have the bandwidth to host
a public server (just 512/256 ADSL), and even though I capped the max players at 12, I still had to
restrict my own use of that bandwidth if I didn't want to lag people out.

So, BW is gone ... as Wiz said ... Non-Legit servers don't last
