Default Probs. / LAN???

Ok, i am trying out the server locally... but when i connect to eqemu it finds the server and connects... creates the character, and then when i press enter game, it "loses connection"..... Very Wierd! Also.... is there any way of playing it on a LAN not on the net or loacaly just LAN? I know i can set the I.P. addresses to the network address but what else needs changing!?

But on the plus side your question is only on this board about 35 times... so you should be able to find all you need to get you working exactly like your looking too.

I have tried both emulators... this one is FAR surpased ethernalquest. Plust this one is built in a Database format.... much better!

and NO LAN login isn't supported.. Main reason this is an open source project... no one has the time to trouble shoot every single different LAN/WAN and BoB setup. (don't blame them)

so none of the main Devs will help you out eg. Shawn319.

On the other hand others that have figured it out on there own come back here and help some times.. that is why you see it all over the board answered.
