Default Ok need some advice.

Ok so here is the deal.

I have a fully working version of eqemu prepatch on the 16th.

And I can get on and play fine.

My friend just installed and of course patched to live. He then got the files needed to run eqemu. He can completely log into the game and play but his graphics are totally messed up. I can patch to live and use the files to fix it back to pre 7/16 and I can play correctly and with no graphic issues. If he patches to live and plays on live its fine. So basiclly Im asking for advice on how we can fix his graphic issue he has dx 9 freshly installed and new vid drivers. It seems that its the dx9.dll that is causing him to get the bug. Does he need a dx9.dll set up with his vid card vs what ever the card was that he got the file from?

Any help would be appricated

Any thing against the rules please edit as Im not sure what we can and cant talk about.

Thanks Ciggies

Try installing the normal dx9 (not dx9a or dx9b), since the b version often seems to cause problems with some video cards (GF4 Ti 4200 in my case). Search the net for a directx uninstaller.

Wait, so what did you do exactly to get it up and working? I'm still having trouble trying to log in. Can you give me detailed information on how you did it?
