Default Question about starting up

Ok, I use to play EQ but got bored and quit. In order to play this do i have to "re-sign up" to get the updates? Or can I just reinstall and use the methods on this site?

I don't want to have to renew my account just to update

BTW, I only have the Runes of Kunark CD, is that OK?

No you really don't need to have an active live account to use the patcher. Not sure if you would need the other expansions ... tho the download will take forever from the live patcher hehe. And After patching to live you need to find a way to get your EQ to work with the emu since the current version of EQEmu doesn't work with live. Hope this helps.

No, he's saying even if you patch your everquest it's not compatible with eqemu. You'll have to figure out how to make it work, we can't send you files because it's illegal ^^

The login servers are not up to date with the EQ Client that was updated. dunno if that explains it more or just makes you more confused

If you read around you may find a solution...a solution that works for some but not for all. Thats if you can read. Many new to the EQEmulator can't. No offense I couldn't read either but I learned quickly. I think I am at a 5th grade level now. Its not enough yet though. Anyway good luck!
