Means mysql isn't running on localhost. Fix that or nothing else will work.

from your first post:

My first quess is you are using an incompatable DB for EQEmu 4.3

your problem is World.exe cannot log to your database. Thats why it stop and disappear.
[Database]
host=localhost

user= < username you created when you installed mysql >
password=<password you created when you installed mysql>

database=<Name of your Database, it should be eq>

compression=off

if you installed mysql correctly you shouldnt have problem

Yes, mysql is installed correctly... I tried doing it again 3 times and still the same problem... Ive been doing everything from the readme's and texts and everything I can get my hands on... And for the db should be eq, yes it used to be eq like 8 db's ago )

Did you use a compatible database? Lurker suggested that you might have the wrong one. Have you tried the 3 major ones from the World Building forum?

Ok I found a few DB's that I have not tried yet. I will try them now...
Will get back to you when I try these... Hopefully I can get one of them to work...
