1001 my first time and yes I've read all of the other thread

I've gotten a 1001 everytime I've tired to log in. I changed the text in the eqhost.txt and have not patched since. It still does not work.

If you have read then you must have noticed all the issues people are having right now with 5.0. Just be patient and do whatever you have to do to refrain from starting another thread on a subject that already has 10.

Why are you trying to gett Live support on this emulator site? check SOE's web site for help with Live issues.

I believe I made an error in setting this all up (even though I followed the instructions) and am wondering if anybody has had the same experience when first setting up.

all you had to do was patch to live then change the EQHost, nothing gets messed up, all you need to do to get on live is patch, if there is issues that wont let you get on Live get with SOE, just dont mention EQEMU or they will ban your account.
