Default gifs and sigs
Just curious if anyone could give me some pointers on making/creating gifs for sig/avatar use. Or know of some good software that wouldn't cost me anything since I don't really see me using often. I think I know how to put one together but software is the problem. The one program Ive used so far puts a txt line plugging the software brand across the top. Any tips appreciated and Thankyou.

The Gimp will go script-fu on you!

Maybe Cooltext would work for you, too. It is basically a web interface to some of the Gimp's script-fu stuff. It can do simple text logos like this:

You still need someplace to put them, though.
