Default Server Side Global Pause?

This is probably a stupid question, but when running an EQemu server for private use (one person) is it possible to pause the server in any way? I am not familiar with the server program, but I'm hoping this is in some way possible; perhaps by bottlenecking the server output to something like 1kb/s, or changing the program priority to Low.

EverQuest is such a great game, but I literally cannot play it and maintain a stable academic and social life. If I could perhaps pause the game (or any other method of allowing me to get up and do something without fear of something horrible happening to my avatar) the game wouldnt be quite so addictive.

Gracias,

Jick

I admittedly haven't tried it to see if you still generate any aggro, but look up the gm invul command in the help and see if that's what you are after to guard yourself from harm. As for a real PAUSE i don't know of any. If you just want to leave it always running you can also just leave yourself in the arena to curb any hostilities =b
