Post more details, such as the errors kicked out by world.exe and your LoginServer.ini file. You won't get help with a generic question like that.

I simply set it up the online way first...then set it up for offline play.

It works very well now.

Well...if I could just figure out how to spawn stuff with their correct graphic and stats

Looks like you have some db issues. Here are a few general tips:

1. make sure mysql is running. for windows I think you have to run the mysqladmin thingy and just minimize its window (I could be wrong because I run eqemu exclusively in Linux).

2. start with the database (db.sql) included with the 0.3.0 release -- don't use the mod'ed dbs until you get it working and understand it

Tip 3 it's all case sensitive so make sure your cases are right or it won't find the database and give you lots of errors. Password and access name and all, i know it took me a little but before i relized i had that problem.

I never have to have winmysqladmin running. if i look in processes i see mysql-nt.exe is running always (i'm on WinXP Pro). as long as i dont terminate the process i'm fine and never have to run anything.

The file for a windows 9X machine running mysql is

mysqld-opt

This has to be running. Do a CTRL+ALT+DELETE and see if it is listed.
