Are you on dialup?
I have the same problem and have been told there is a problem with dialup users but the devs are working on it so we just have to wait it out :( . If your not on dialup then i dont have much idea mabey a router or firewall thing. Sorry I couldn't help get you playin though.

Sounds like you don't have the luclin models installed. Try running the Everquest patcher and check "Shadows of Luclin" on the Advanced tab.

On the other hand, even if you don't have the Luclin files installed you should still be able to log in, you just can't visit the zones or view the new models. If I remember correctly there's a button named "Continue anyway" or "Continue login" or something similar in that dialog box.

But Mongrel, if you press continue then it restarts the game like he said. This also happens to me and like I said i've been told its dialup internet or something to do with win98 but the latter isnt true because it also happens on my Win2000 Pro. The Devs are aparently working on a solution so we you'll just have to sit tight.

Matt
