Default Mysql question.
Hello, am new to mysql still and need the command to dump the old database from Mysql thanks in advance.

Well depends what you want to do.


To dump the complete database to this

start run cmd or command

cd\

c:\

mysqldump -u root databasename > sqlfile.sql

Or to dump just a table do this.

mysqldump -u root databasename tablename > sqlfile.sql
