Server Info

:evil: ok this is kaing me mad!!!!!! Ok i have my server and everything setup but when i run world.exe the msdos box closes and its not supposed to!!!! Ive tried to reinstall all the MySQL files, EQEmu files, and all the files you need to run the server and it does the same thing!!!!! I followed the guide for Windows 2000/NT/Xp....wasnt sure if i was supposed to but yeah my Win Version is ME..... will that make a difference? i am using the EQEmu server 0.5.2 and still have the right eqgame but its not letting me run the darn server. PLEASE HELP ME ive trid to get it to work since 8am and its not 5pm so plz.........thnx

read other threads, use search, and if you cant figure it out post more info(see other posts for what info we need) at this point I know you are trying to run a server and messed up....somewhere, but cant tell where because I have no ifo.

the key to figuring out *why* it doesnt work is to see the errors it returns.

SOooooo.. dont run it from a batch file.

Instead open a dos window, and run the commands by hand til it pukes. then fix that problem.
