If thats the case then why do American football championship games get more media fanfare than all the rest?

Football = a helluva lot > than futbol, now THATs a equation that works.

that's why futbol is the biggest sport in the world?

EXCEPt, you notice the EXCEPT kk thx...in the States...it's the biggest damn sport every where else...

Normal soccer games in Europe and else where, get 70,000 in attendance...per normal season game...non cup, championship, final w/e you want to call it.

True, I already knew that. I knew soccer is bigger over the pond and elsewhere. And American football games are much the same in terms of attendance, one I have been to had 90,000 people there and it was at the college level, not even pros. Dunno why other countries don't have American-style football, maybe it takes a superpower to handle it. :P

Anyway, lets just agree to disagree. I like football b/c it has a strong "battlefield" sense, as morbid as it sounds I have always been interested in war, and I am sure you have your own reasons to like European football.

Imagin a whole town in Texas loading up in 25 greyhound busses to go to another town because there Highschool football team is playing in that other town. whoever looses the host town is trashed.

Yeah, maybe I should explain that, its a college game so it has insane followings from alummi, etc., and it was a high profile rivalry game so thats a big deal. And by rivalry game I mean, one time the two met, and our team (duh, LSU) pulled a Hail Mary play, the resulting cheer caused nearby intruments to register an earthquake. (For those who want to look it up, LSU vs Auburn, 1987)

EDIT: WOOT! Gratz to LSU on the 2004 BCS Championship.

Of course it was in a open stadium with rain most of the game so that says something that even knowing that many people showed (full to capacity).
