Crashing While Zoning W/ Equip

I have a problem I can zone anywhere fine on any char until I add equip to them. Then I time out everything I zone and have to make a new char, caus the old one won't log in. Any ideas?

Try it on Shawns 5.5 server and see if it still happens. If it doesn't wait until 5.5 source is released and then all servers will upgrade to it. That should fix your problem.

It can also be a matter of zone hosting. Depending on how many zone servers you are running and what kind of DB you are using, it really makes all the difference. I advise you to use TCSMyWorld's latest database and a Boot10Zones.bat file, such as this one:

The ten zones are better than five because if a zone server goes down, it doesn't take most of the zones with it and tends to be more stable, well in my opinion anyway.

Some of the time, if you are using equipment that is NOT meant to be used for that character you will have the death loop or the zone problem. Try making a character, and getting the same equipment, but dont put it on yet. Now put ONE piece on, and try and zone. If you have this problem with that equipment you will know that was it.. Also, you can see, when you look at the properties of the equipment that if the numbers are in red, you WILL have problems of some sort.. Try using less uber equipment..
