Client Crashing on Dil's server.

I can login and create a character, but when I try to enter the world, my client crashes.

Im running DX 9.0b.
Patched to 2/18

The problem may be that I made this account but it was wiped, then I re-created it with the same userid.

ANy help out there?

Try logging into another 0.5.5 server.... See if it happens to you then...

i know what the problem is, you cannot have and characters named after your old ones plane in simple for some reason when i create characters with the same name as an old 5.3 character of mine ti would crash..

I've made a lot of different characters with different names and still no go.

That is the window I am getting.

What zones are you starting in?

Have you tried building a woodelf to start in Gfay?

I have a human cleric with a bind point(geez, I need to bind that toon somewhere else, I always forget.. lol) in Qeynos, and if the toon dies I get that same error... Then I have to log in with another toon and #movechar ...

im getting that client crash alot too

i get it zoning and when i try to log on half the time
i also get booted each time i delete plat

i enjoy the server but find it really unstable

Ok, have you tried deleting all your UI files and then patching to live again? I used to get the error, and that fixed it for me.

I am sad to inform that i have been getting allot of client crashes as well. But about 2 weeks ago it started to do this and i was able to get back on for the event in POTimeb but i went LD about 7 times in 5 minuites :( . I tried to get back on about 7 times every day since then for about 4 days now and every day it says that i have had a server client crash

: . I have tried everything that you guys have mentioned and i still have no results. Please help me on this.

P.S. i was wondering if i could become a GM soon and i have yet to fill out a form. :lol:

The dil server is also crashing for me.....i have a lvl 9 char on it..
I was in high hold pass when i went DL
Now every time i try to get back in it crashes
I made new characters and it still crashed
