Cant log on

ewhen i try to log onto the server list it says error1001 could not connect to the login server and then when i try to exit it frezzes im hosting a server i dont think that would make a difference tho but if u need me to post sumtin i will o and my eqhost is right im posative so that isnt a problem

If you are just trying to play on someone else's server then you either still dont have it right (read spaces where there shouldnt be or no spaces where there should be), or you need to re-run the EQLive patcher. Did you create the shortcut properly?

 C:\Eqemu\eqgame.exe patchme

On your desktop? (assuming you are playing from a backup of everquest and that it is located in C:\Eqemu)
You are not trying to play from a college are you? Most colleges block all but the standard ports, and you will not be able to play unless you set up a proxy...

2.i am hosting the server
3.i cant get to server list it stops at the everquest sign in with account and pass then says

Error1001 Could not connect to the everquest server please try again later

4.my eqhost is right
5.it never did this b4 just untill a lil while and i could connect after i started server also now people can connect to the server i just remembered so im not sure of what any problem is

Post your loginserver.ini, load5zones.bat, and db.ini, and copy-paste the output of your world.exe and zone.exe when you are having this problem...
Do you have a router that might need to be configured to the ports needed? Do you have a firewall? Try plugging in the address 66.150.161.134 into your eqhost.txt (this used to be the IP address of eqloginserver, but might have changed dont know)...

i completely closed my firewall(norton) from task messenger i have a router but everything is in cheack with that so uhh hope this helps sole it

Boot5zones.bat and load5zones.bat are the same thing.. That is what the file was called before recently...

First thing, try putting in your internal IP address in your BOOT5ZONES.bat instead of localhost.. and put in your actual IP address in the other column. If you havent rebooted or lost power to your computer it should be still the same as it was in your world.exe post...

Ok fine, you have it all figured out, then why are you asking for help... There are things that you obviously think are fine that COULD contribute to the problem...
If you dont want my help just tell me I will move on to someone who is willing to help ME help them... Ive been around for a while and have seen a lot of things. IT IS SOMETHING ON YOUR END THAT IS WRONG, but you wont help me help you fix it.. so no problems....

all im saying is that somtin went wrong and i know the things that are right i think people can log on now cause my friend was running the same server but my main problem now is that it frezzes b4 i log on thats what i really need help fixing i dont need help fixing my server my friend can do that i was just asking for help logging on jesus.....

Could always make this simple. DR1 is a *Dev Release*, meaning it is not perfect and there are problems.
