Default Switching world off port 9000?

I'm running my server on a host where port 9000 isn't open (the firewall), and I'm rather incapable of getting hold of the person who can modify this at the moment, resulting in "Lost connection to patch server" error.

Is there any way to switch the worldserver port?

It's hard-coded in the client. You're screwed.
