Default a couple of q's about Win32 Server and SQL

hey all...
just got some easy questions...

about the spell files... why do the server need those?
I mean, no problem for me, just wondering

and what shall the size of the SQL database be when
you've added both large 30+mb files?
some peeps here says it will take hours...

it only took me about 30-40 min for both files on a P2 450

and about the login servers...
those eqlogin1.eqemulator.net servers...

if EQEmu crew decide to take down the project, will all the
Server admins out here just go around with dead servers then?

just a few questions I thought I would like to know the answers to

It needs them to look up the spells available to the server.

I used both as well. My DB is 42 MB. It seems it adds a few things but alot of it is duplicates. I still do not understand why they dont make a "master" file, with everything you need and be done with it. My theory is that it is updated to much (once a week or so) to make that work (?)

Im going to go out on a limb here. Something went wrong. When I did it, it took it about 2 hours. My server is a dual 2.8 GHZ Server grade intel with 1 GB of pc3200... or did *I* f*ck up somewhere (LMAO)... always possible.

hmm.. in short, yes. But i doubt that will happen. If it did, im sure someone would continue their work.

If i am wrong about any of this, feel free to flame - i kinda like it... Just remember, i can pick locks, and if i really tried hard i could probably find our house (LOL jk)
