Default Well...Question

I have C++ professional edition compiler on my computer, is there any difference between it and VS.NET? I'd like to compile the newest developer release so i can continue work on my server (I.E. quests...events..etc).

Theres possibly a difference in what libraries are included in your compiler, .net includes more than most and the EMu uses some of those. Also some shortcuts are used in the code that .net supports and other compilers dont, just try yours out and see if it works. The worst that can happen is that you get an error message and the build fails so it can't hurt to try and without being experts on both compilers, which we would rather not be, we don't know if yours supports everything the Emu needs to compile.
