Open FTP within a new Frame?

Can anyone help me with this?
What i have is a navbar, when you click the link i want my FTP Server, with all of its files etc, to pop up on the bottom frame. I tried directly linking it to the button on the navbar, but that didn't seem to want to work. When i type ftp://myipaddress in my address bar it seems to want to work, just not when i click it through my website. Hope my problem was clear enough =/

I can try having my navbar open a new page, from which i can then directly link from my FTP said file to download, but i want it to be open.... if it's even possible
