hi all, im new here, let me start by saying a few things, first off, great game here guys, i play live eq and it was alot of fun twinking out an exact replica of my character

. number 2 the post on classic eq sounds great, i have played since 1999 and nothing sounds better to me, if you ever get it going, ill be on. lastly, im going to get flamed for this but, everquest is dying. it has been dying since luclin, there is just no way around it. gear that is uber one month you go twink a friends level 1 rogue with the next. the game has gone so fast that all but the most "uber guilds" cant even hope to attain the high-end items in the next expansion. another thing is how utterly easy it is to level, in ex. it took me 3 years to get my first char to 65, in the next year and a half i got 2 chars to 65 and 1 to 54. playing 5-6hrs a day i can get a char to 50 in a month, its sad. im next setting my sights on World of warcraft. i have high hopes for this game, it is just so different and catering to all players. ex. blizzard implemented a new feature in the beta called "rested state" the longer you are off line the bigger xp bonus you gain, up to 2x for a full 24 hrs offline (of course the bonus slowly wears off over like a 4 hr period). so its possible(without being insanely hard or easy) for both the and casual gamers to level. no more only uber-65 and level 25 casual gamer groups.
