problem

just a small problem... when i try to connect to a server (click play acfter selecting a server, eq crashes back to the desktop immediately...

i've used scorpious2k's patch

everything workis fine up untill i try to actually play the game

any ideas?

Scorpious2k patcher only works for half of the people that use it for some reason. If it doesnt work then, yes thats all you can do unless you play winters roar.

Well here is a suggestion...I tried the patcher last month and it didn't work so I played WR. Then I tried it again this month and it works! I know thats strange but how about you try that? Maybe in a month they will be finished making it up to date. Maybe...

there was a new eq patch yesterday so i wouldnt recommend patching =)

Scorpius2k updated their patcher(a little while back) with the dx9 file and rendereffects folder items, which had been causing most of the problems. I am unsure of this new patch, I'll patch to live and test it on my other PC later today.

Yeah let me know what you get from that. I have been having some serious problems with my screen blacking out. I know how to fix it but that would require WAREZ which I do not wish to ask for or have.
