hm
"A king ruleth as he ought, a tyrant as he lists, a king to the profit of all, a tyrant only to please a few"
and thus the new leadership takes hold, as, I had expected it to... frankly, I'm surprised this hasnt happened sooner.
I've been with Eqemu a long time...a few different accounts, never more than maybe 3 posts on the forums *shame on me* but, I have watched and watched the drama unfold.
Every project like this crumbles at some point, and, lets just all be happy that the power hungry havent killed it before now- after all...it's not a long wait til EQ2 comes out, is it?
all in all, its a shame however, that human nature needs to tear at the newer...or, Noober developers.
You all remember the good old days? well...scorp hasnt been lynched yet, thats refreshing, but, Image, Dev, gone...how long ago did shawn drop the project? how many original devs are even left...
its much like a high school reunion at a cemetary.
and...I can't help but predict EQemu isnt going to get back to live status... or at least, not for another month or three, if at all.
the project is dead...well, in a hospice, for now.
and, since, I really wont be using Eqemulator anymore, I guess I can say this now.
Melwin- I have no direct problems with you...
but Wiz and Rogean... I have never respected you, and frankly, You both have the social dignity of fetid dingo's kidneys.
good night sweet emu, flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!

*awaiting ban in...3...2...1..

I do not see this project closing any time soon, and its that kind of attitude that brings down projects like this.
Good day to you sir.

C++ is wonderful.

I dont see this project going anywhere, unless SoE steps in, too many people committed to it.

I see more and more people playing on it now. I just wish they would update the EMU. Sick of the item shifting bug, and it would be nice to be able to patch again. Also would be nice to patch before they force you to log in and download (for those of us who no longer play eqlive).

I think you have me confused with a certain someone.
I don't ban because I feel like it.

I wonder how many stupid people will patch after reading that, even though no server is updated lol

ouch! harsh words...oh wait...no they werent. either way,
Theres a difference between being childish and voicing concern...and in this case, Dismay, over the project. Even you should know that, wiz,
oh, and on an unrelated note- Mel- I really liked the pig better...Dr. Phil is a creepy who talks like Quick Draw Mcgraw.

Y'know...I'm still trying to figure out why this is a seperate thread (I hit reply in the Dev/noob thread, and for some reason it branched off) so, sorry about that, and, please, Drama King... The penis is a defining factor, after all, and I am an actor.
but, hey, you got your jab in, I bet you feel much better now,
