Default Well.... (*^*^) bellsouth

God, I have been with out internet and phone for almost 2 weeks...
Feels good to have it back. ( didnt even have dialup)

Why I didn't have these things you ask...
Because bellsouth SUCKS!!! I am now using earthlink and AT&T..
Bellsouth wanted to change me $800 for a call made in another to contry for 1 hour of time... I don't know anyone outside the USA; who I would need to make a 1 hour call to...... I told them I wasn't paying for a call i didn't make. So they truned it all off so ()&*(#& them! lol, I dont even know how that call was made. I don't know any of other phone numbers...

Good to be back....

And whats going on with all of the people leaving?

I'll be in Mirc as soon as I get my new router and set it.

Of this is to off topic sorry

I believe it is illegal to cut off one service for failure to pay for another. Ie, they can't cut off your local service for refusing to pay long distance. Don't know if Internet service falls under that regulation tho.

Its all on 1 bill...

Both phone lines.
Both of my DSL lines.
my cellphone.
Email.

Anything that has to do with the phones in one that bill.

They cut it off because it was 2 month past due and I said I will not pay for that $800 call... I coudn't pay that if I wanted to.. I only make $1500 a month... And I am lucky I have internet at all

My total bill was like $1000 I paid the $200 for everthing else but it went to that call... So )(#&&*%^# them!!!

As of right now I have a verison cell phone, AT&T telephone servies, and earthing ADSL.. I am looking at about $190 for all that.. and thats with out my #2 phone line a DSL servies.

Even if it IS on one bill, still illegal to cut off local svc for refusing to pay long distance calls. Otherwise there'd be no need for the law :P But internet svc prolly doesn't fall under that protection :(

However, if your local phone service was cut off for this, you might have a case. Assuming the regulatory situation is the same for you as in Texas, but I dunno if that's the case :(

I had issues w/ dsl a few years ago like that. Roomy charged lotsa long distance. Shut off dsl even though paid enough to cover that. Phone company says that they put money paid into order: pay local then long distance then dsl. So unless all other services were fully paid, no dsl...

edit: now i pay cox for cablemodem, plus basic cable that you have to have (no internet w/out at least basic cable) even though I don't ever watch TV. That is BS too...
